In this surreal futuristic world, a machine from another time makes bubbles in a bubble. This painting is the perfect illustration of prattling, what we would translate in French as "Parler pour ne rien dire", where length and length of intricate tubing, with an antique machine from another age is making the most useless thing ever: Bubbles in a bubble. Ironically, a machine man is there controlling the quality of the bubble being produced. One will notice how this tubular world is grey, contrasting with the colorful bubbles symbolizing the ephemerality of the living vs the eternal.
